Dear MUMC Members and Friends,

Your safety is of primary concern to me—and that includes your health. I posted on Facebook last night that our Sunday schedule for March 15 will be different.

We will have one service at 8:30 am.
The Choir will not be singing.
There will be no Sunday School.
There will be no Fellowship time.
We will continue to be on the radio plus we will livestream on Facebook or Youtube. Look for more information on the live stream tomorrow

I am asking that all high risk folks stay home—we have been reading who that includes—folks with cancer, heart disease, diabetes, compromised immune systems and over the age of 60. We need to be responsible in “ flattening the curve.” I am not aware of any cases in Piatt County and I pray that there won’t be any. I believe the hospitals in our area will not be able to handle the influx if we don’t stay put.

I am not sure what we will do on March 22–we will continue to communicate with you via email and Facebook.

As we travel this new road, I want to encourage you to remain calm, use your good judgment, be in prayer for each other as well as those around the world who are being affected. Please continue to support the staff here at MUMC as well as our community, national and world leaders.

Yours in Christ,

Pastor Kathy
