Welcome to FANS – Fresh, Awesome, and New on Sunday -
The Kids Ministry at Monticello United Methodist Church!

We meet at 9:45am Sunday mornings in the choir room, then move to the fans room across from the nursury.  It is a new high-energy, high impact ministry for kids who are K through 5th grade. FANS Kids Ministry includes a weekly bible lesson, fun activities connected to bible stories, crafts, song, and prayer during Sunday school. Additionally, children will engage in meaningful mission work in our community and beyond. Periodically, children will share what they have learned and the impact of their mission work with the congregation during Sunday worship services.
FANS is a one-room, rotational approach to kids bible study.  All children ages four years through 5th grade begin together singing and moving to worship songs in the sanctuary.  Teachers then lead students to the first classroom station to study the week’s bible story.  Next, students participate in a games and crafts session, based upon the week’s bible lesson.  Finally, students connect the lesson to their community and world by participating in a mission project.

JKF (Junior Kids Fellowship)

Our after school program includes snack, a brief lesson, games and fellowship. There is no charge for our program. We will have a snack list if parents wish to donate.
How does my child attend? Parents are always welcome to bring kids, or kids can ride the Piattran from the middle school, Faith Christian School or MCA.
Come and join us on Wednesdays with regular school hours through April for fun and fellowship!
JKF is open to kids who are in K-5th grade.
